Shipping and Returns
DCC Shipping Policies
Shipping cost is calculated using the weight and dimensions of the product(s) ordered based on selected shipping method.
Standard shipping is via UPS Ground for U. S. and Canada. DHL is the standard carrier for international shipping. International orders are charged additional handling.
Our welders are usually in stock and ship within three business days. Orders often ship within 24 hours but this is not guaranteed. DCC will contact you if an item is backordered.
Warranties and Liabilities
Products offered are new equipment. DCC provides a one year limited warranty against faulty materials or workmanship from date of purchase on its products and services. This limited warranty applies to HotSpot welders purchased directly though DCC or any of its authorized resellers. During the warranty period, DCC will repair or replace, at no charge, the products or parts of the product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship. The decision whether to repair or replace a unit is at DCC’ s sole discretion.
This warranty covers defects related to normal use and does not extend to damage or malfunctions due to unauthorized modifications, misuse of the product, or extreme conditions. If your welder stops working after being dropped from a height, left too close to a blast furnace, or run over by a truck, we offer a discount on a replacement unit instead.
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product only. DCC’ s liability, if any, is limited only to the original cost of the products. The buyer is responsible for determining the suitability of our welders for your intended use and for operating the product in a safe manner. Capacitive discharge welders release a high level of energy and must always be operated with appropriate safety precautions, including but not limited to eye protection. In no case shall DCC, its officers, employees, or contractors be liable for any injury or damages arising from the use of our product. Our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law in states or jurisdictions where the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not allowed.
